We have very extensive experience in interviews, this is actually how we got started in video. The challenge is not only to shoot a well framed composition of the person speaking, but also to ensure that the sound is clear and audible, and that B-roll supplements the video and illustrates what the person is talking about.
One of our priority when conducting an interview is to get right to the core of what the person says. The video also should be totally faithful of what the person is really about. This human touch, these subtle emotional cues, are what makes a good interview captivating. We shot the following interview to help promote an Aikido School in Kyoto and it has proven to be one of the most successful video of this kind on YouTube.
